Chief of Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad (2009-2019): Under his leadership, the squad saw substantial growth, including a doubling of call volume, tripling of membership, fleet expansion, and construction of a new station.
County EMS Chief for St. Mary's County (2017-present): In this role, Shawn works tirelessly to integrate career personnel into the EMS system, plan for disaster responses, and implement innovative protocols to enhance citizen care.
